Warranties
We carefully inspect every item when it enters our inventory and we
inspect it again before it goes into your parcel. Warranty
situations are rare but regrettably sometimes they occur.
CanadaJewels and our suppliers warranty all items we sell. If
an item is found to be defective in material or workmanship for one
year, CanadaJewels will repair or replace the item
at no charge to you.
Gold chains are warranted by CanadaJewels for 2 years and repaired or replaced if
broken.

Watches
For watches please refer to the warranty that came with the watch.
It is faster and more efficient for you to deal directly with the
manufacturer of the watch, follow the instructions on the warranty
information.
Unlike many online dealers CanadaJewels
is an authorized dealer of the watch brands we market.
Manufacturers will honor your warranty without any difficulty.
What Is Not Under Warranty

Items that have been repaired, altered or sized by persons or
businesses other than CanadaJewels or JK Schmidt Jewellers.
Reputable jewellers warranty their work, refer to
them for problems
with an item following their repair, sizing or alteration

Items that have been abused or damaged voids the warranty

Items that have been in your possession for longer than
the warranty period are
no longer under warranty
Please appreciate that a warranty is
not an insurance policy, a
warranty covers defects in material or workmanship only, not damage
caused to an item. Gold chain is an exception and will be
repaired or replaced regardless of how the damage was caused.
If an item is not covered by warranty we will work with you to find
a solution at a reasonable repair or replacement cost.
Warranty Return Procedure
Email us at
karen@canadajewels.com - we will send you a return
authorization code.
We do not accept parcels without an authorization code.
Securely package your item, along with all the item documentation,
instructions, packaging and certificates you received.
On the top of the address label write " return code# (the authorization code)".
When you address the parcel do not use CanadaJewels, (for security reasons)
please use "Robin Kenndey c/o CanadaJ".
Nor write diamonds, jewellery or watches anywhere on the parcel.
Please ship via an insured and traceable method as you are
responsible for the parcel reaching us.
We will email you confirmation when we have received your
warranty return.
Once the
item has been repaired or replaced we will send it back, at no
shipping cost to you.
For International and USA Returns
Place a note inside the parcel explaining what is wrong and your
name and address with "Returned for
Repair" boldly and clearly written on the paper .
On customs documents define the item as "personal
accessory" and state clearly that it is "a purchased Canadian
item being returned for repair." (for Canadian
customs clearance)
DO NOT
ship UPS
or FEDEX as customs brokerage charges may apply
please ship by
your national postal service (our American clients please use USPS).
Shipping Label

authorization code (xxx) we sent you added.
