April - White Zircon

The birthstone for April is diamond.
To make it more affordable we use real - natural White Zircon. 

Not to be confused with synthetic Cubic Zirconia (CZ).   Natural Zircon suffers because its name is often confused with Cubic Zirconia, the man made cheap diamond imitation. 

Most people don't realize that Zircon is a beautiful natural gemstone.

Zircon occurs in a wide range of colours.  Blue Zircon is also an alternate birthstone for December.

The most popular is the colourless variety, White Zircon - which we use - as it looks more like a diamond than any other natural stone due to its brilliance and dispersion.

So if you can not afford Diamond then White Zircon is a great alternative and it is 100% natural and real - you will not be disappointed.

The major sources for Zircon are Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar and Australia.

Zircon is one of the heaviest gemstones, which means that it will look smaller than other varieties of the same weight.

It is 7.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
